This private Garden of the Gods & Pikes Peak Bus Tour from Denver is an excellent way to explore the most beautiful parts of the Centennial State. In this tour, you will experience a few of the many breathtaking views that Colorado has to offer, stroll through the historic Manitou Springs, walk around the stunning Garden of the Gods park and visit the gorgeous Helen Hunt Falls.
In this day trip from Denver, we begin by traveling south from Denver up in elevation to Colorado Springs. The first part of our journey takes us to an unworldly stop, Garden of the Gods. This geological paradise is sure to amaze you. Garden of the Gods is ranked as the best park in the country as well as the 3rd best park in the world by the TripAdvisor traveler's choice list in 2013.
Following Garden of the Gods, we will visit Pikes Peak. Pikes Peak is the highest summit of the southern Front Range. Standing at 14,115 feet in elevation, it is the most prominent fourteener of the 53 in Colorado. Pikes Peak was named in honor of the famous American explorer Zebulon Pike. Although Pike was never able to reach the summit, we will make sure that you will!
Upon our return to earth, we will still have time to visit the historic town of Manitou Springs. Also referred to as "Saratoga of the West,” Manitou Springs was established as a resort community, it’s known for mineral springs and "spectacular setting" adjacent to Pikes Peak. This unique small town is filled with restaurants, gift shops, and galleries. Manitou even homes its own brewery if you’d care to stop for a drink.
Finally, we will take a scenic drive along the foothills of the Rockies, through the beautiful town of Sedalia. We will witness the sun kiss the mountains on a beautiful sunset setting.
