Join us on a guided day trip from Denver to Mount Blue Sky, formerly known as Mount Evans. The Mount Blue Sky Scenic Byway is seasonal, and access depends on weather, road conditions, and available tour dates.
Our route begins at Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre, followed by a scenic drive through Clear Creek Canyon. We then stop in historic Idaho Springs, a town shaped by Colorado’s early gold rush, before continuing toward Mount Blue Sky. When conditions allow, planned stops include Echo Lake and Summit Lake.
Along the way, watch for bighorn sheep, mountain goats, marmots, birds, and alpine wildflowers. Wildlife sightings are never guaranteed, but the route offers sweeping views of mountain peaks, alpine lakes, and high-country landscapes.

The upper section of the Mount Blue Sky Scenic Byway is seasonal and may close because of weather, snow, or road conditions. Check current access before departure.
The route and planned stops may change when any section of the road is closed.
Bring a warm jacket and dress in layers
No children under the age of 7. Private tours are recommended for families with children.
You may experience altitude sickness. Avoid alcoholic beverages for 24 hours prior to departure time.
Weather may affect the route after departure or cause iLimo to cancel the tour before departure.
If the tour departs and encounters weather-related road closures, the itinerary may be adjusted, and no refund will be issued for those changes. If iLimo cancels the tour before departure due to weather, a full refund will be issued.
Minimum number of 4 passengers apply. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there are not enough passengers to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative or full refund.

Cancellation & refund policy
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
If the tour departs and encounters weather-related road closures, the itinerary may be adjusted, and no refund will be issued for those changes. If iLimo cancels the tour before departure due to weather, a full refund will be issued.
This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.
